Other Transplanting Tips
Water your relocated plant regularly, especially during the first Summer. But make sure not to over-water, as too much water around the roots can hinder root development and or sponsor the onset of root-rot. Proper watering is as essential as anything to success in shrub and tree transplanting. Not too little, not too much. Always use the finger test to check for soil moisture.
NOTE:
Keep in mind that even when the steps above are precisely followed, your transplant may not be a successful one. These instructions are provided to increase the odds for a successful transplant of a shrub or tree. Good Luck!
