Gardenality sends notifications to keep you updated on what is going on throughout the site.

Gardenality provides notifications both on the site and via e-mail to make sure you don't miss anything important.

Presently, you will receive notifications when:

  • another Gardenality member sends you a private message
  • another Gardenality member comments on one of your published articles or pictures
  • a question you asked is answered
  • a "Bug Report" you made is answered

Customizing Your Settings

Gardenality will allow you to customize what notifications you'd like to receive and which ones you'd like to ignore. That will be coming soon, I promise! We are also going to allow any member to completely ignore any and all e-mail notifications in case you just don't like to be flooded with e-mail...like Noah.

If you look at the Buy tab on the plant files it will show Gardenality members who sell plants either online or at their retail locations. Gardenality is an info only site and does not sell plants or products directly.

A big online store is http://www.gardenerdirect.com

TO CHASON ARTHUR: I don't see a "buy" tab on the plant drop down where it is supposed to show plant sellers. Can you or someone tell me where it is?

Linda - the buy tab will only show up if an online reseller lists their web site as a source to buy the plant. Gardenality itself doesn't sell plants to the public so we can remain unbiased. Here is an example of a plant file that has a link to a web site where you can buy a plant: http://www.gardenality.com/Plants/142/Shrubs/Purple-Pixie-Loropetalum.html#Tab=WhereToBuy

As Gardenality grows we will see more and more companies list themselves as a resource for buying plants online. Hope this helps.
