Come one, come all to the Gardenality BETA!

We are officially in BETA...only after two and a half years...although we did make this in our spare time!

So what is a "BETA"?

Well if you have been around the internet much you've probably heard the term. Beta (β) is the second letter of the Greek alphabet. What does that mean in relation to Gardenality? Well that means the BETA came after the ALPHA. Can you guess what the first letter of the Greek alphabet is...? So I suppose BETA means after ALPHA, but in all honesty we call it that because it seems like accepted terminology in software and web development.

What can you expect from Gardenality BETA?

Well, you can expect the core functionality of the Gardenality site with an occasional bug here or there. You can report bugs and monitor the status of the developers as they fix any bug you find. Basically, "bugs" are any tool or function in the site that isn't working right for you. This could be anything from a broken link to an image uploader that isn't working right. Gardenality's development is transparent, we don't try to pretend we are perfect but rather involve our members in the development of the site and keep you up-to-date on how we are coming along in developing new features as well as perfecting existing ones.

When is the BETA over?

Most likely, never, since Gardenality will never officially be finished. Much like a plant, Gardenality is always growing in information and features. It is our goal to serve our members. If you have an idea we and want to share it, we'd like to hear about it. That means if you think of something that makes your gardening experience better, this is something we want to build into Gardenality. And that means another BETA. So BETA is normal but also BETA...confusing...but fun that anyone can participate in for free!

Thank You For Making Gardenality Possible

Our members make the site, not us. We will continually work hard to offer you amazing features and easy-to-use functionality. But, at the end of the day, it is your participation that makes Gardenality, well, Gardenality!

Grateful,
~ Chason
