About Keyhole Vegetable Garden Spring 2012:

This is a two-tier round keyhole garden with a 16-foot diameter. The keyhole path leading to the center of the garden allows for easy picking. If possible, orient the keyhole so it faces south. Old brick was used to build the low border walls. A level was used while setting the bricks. A mixture of native top soil and a compost blend at a 50/50 ratio was used for the garden soil. Egg rock was used to fill the keyhole path.
