About Meditation Garden #1::

This garden will place siginificant intent for color. Some meditation gardens, like the traditional Japanese Zen garden places emphasis on hardscape, i.e. rocks, timber, and a water source, such as a water fall. The meditation garden #1 will focus on stimulating the individual by incorporating plants with vibrant color, subtle textures, and a soft feel to the individual that is searching for a quite, relaxing garden of peace surrounded by the representation of new beginnings and life.

For years studies proving size, texture, and color of buildings and other structures interiors and exteriors can affect ones physical and mental state. Even the presence of animals have been used successfully in mood changing. Its refreshing to hear you are using size, texture, and color of plant life to calm or change ones mental or physical condition. Your garden sounds interesting and was quit thought provoking for me. I realized that when I need a little stimulation after or during an uneventful week I seem to work in my annual gardens that produce colorful flowers that give me a lot pleasure and rewarding results. When the week has been stressful I spend time relaxing listening to my pond water feature and enjoying the calmness that the beautiful color and textures of my perennial garden,green Japanese maples, ficus, and Baby Tears ground cover, gives me. My garden plant life really does have a huge affect on my life. I'm wishing you the best in your masters goal and the exciting goals you must have for your professional future. Great Garden!
