Plant Sunny Side Up Lantana in garden or landscape beds that provide very well-drained soil and plenty of sunshine. A little shade won't hurt.

In zones 7b and further south, Sunny Side Up is a perennial, meaning it will return year after year in the garden. But it won't return if it is pruned in the fall. Fall pruning of hardy lantana almost insures death of the plant. Make sure to wait until new growth begins to emerge in spring to prune hardy lantana. At this time all dead stems with no new growth emerging on them can be removed.

Lantana aren't heavy feeders. I usually fertilize them with a slow-release flower food in spring, after new growth has started to emerge.

I've seen absolutely no pest or disease problems with Sunny Side Up Lantana. COnsistently wet soil can cause problems with the roots. Fall pruning will usually kill the plant. Wait until new growth begins to emerge in spring to prune.
