Grow in a sunny site. Pansies are not to fussy about soil type or pH provided the soil is well-drained. That being said, in the garden, well-prepared, raised garden beds are recommended. Use a premium potting mix when growing pansies in container gardens.

Make sure to fertilize pansies with a slow-release flower food that contains "nitrate" forms of nitrogen (the first number in fertilizer).

Removing faded flowers and their stems from pansies will promote more vigorous growth and increased flower production.

Ultima Radiance Pansies have very few problems with insects. Consistently wet soil can cause problems with the roots. So, whether you plant them in containers or flower beds, make sure the soil is well-drained.
