Majestic Gaint Mix pansies produce an abundance of very large blooms in vibrant colors including yellow, red, orange, blue, purple and white with dark center blotches (faces). As with other pansies they are cool season annuals that do not like the heat. In the South, pansies are typicall planted in early fall and will bloom through winter until mid-spring when the heat arrives. Plant pansies in well-drained beds with fertile soil or in containers with a light professional potting mix and full sun for best performance. Space pansy plants 4" - 6" apart depending on how quickly you wish the area to fill in. Lightly mulching the plants is always beneficial. Do not overwater pansies and never water them in the late evening as this can promote the onset of damaging fungus or disease.
