I have planted sweet peppers and the squirrels have pulled them up and ate the roots. Are they looking for water and how do I stop them?

Answer #1 ·'s Answer · Hi Linda,

I've heard that this product works well to repel squirrels, and is all natural...I Must Garden 2 Squirrel Repellent

It's a granular formula that comes in a 2-pound shaker top bottle that is easy to apply. It's a safe, all natural repellent that is environmentally friendly and won’t hurt any animals. All you have to do is sprinkle it on the areas you need to protect.

It is made up of a proprietary blend of all natural ingredients and botanical oils and comes with a convenient flip top that allows you to shake out the granules onto the areas you wish to protect.

Check with your local independent nursery and garden center for this product. If you can't find it locally do a google search. The product is available online.

Hope this helps you.

We don't carry I Must Garden 2, but we do have Bonide Repels All. It's a granular product as well. Squirrels are listed on the label as well as chipmunks and almost all other animals native to our area. The ingredients are all natural. We just started carrying it a few months ago. We have sold quite a bit of it and I've heard back that it is working well. We will be open until 5pm today and will open at 10am tomorrow. Thank you, Brooks

Thank you. I have done some research on squirrels and found out they fear snakes so I purchased three rubber snakes from the dollar store and placed them in the remaining pots. So far so good. Probably I'll see you Monday. Thanks again.
