Fertilizing Succulent Plants

Someone gave me a container planting of succulent plants and Im not sure if I need to fertilize them?

Answer #1 · Chason Arthur's Answer · Yes, you can fertilize succulents and cactus, but keep in mind that too much fertilizer can be worse than none at all. Use a low nitrogen fertilizer at about 1/2 to 1/4 the recommended rate you find on the package. Nitrogen is the first number in fertilizer. Fertilize succulents maybe twice a year.)
