How Much Direct Sun Does A Burning Bush Need To Turn Red In Fall?

I never get good fall color from my burning bush. It is planted in partial shade.What can i do?

Answer #1 · John Heider's Answer · Hi George-If your Burning Bush does not get at least six hours of full direct sun a day it probably will not get the bright red for you in the fall. They need a lot of sun if you want that deep red color. If you want this deep red color you may have to transplant it where it will recieve more direct sunlight.
