I have thousands of these small green bugs on the underside of the leaves on my riverbirch trees and roses. The leaves on the riverbirch are literally curlying up. Does anybody know what these insects are?

Answer #1 · Chason Arthur's Answer · Most likely, your riverbirch and roses are infested by aphids.

Fortunately, aphids aren't to difficult to control. You can use any product containing Neem Oil or Malathion to eliminate aphids. Alternatively or additionally, you can purhcase bulk quantities of live lady bugs and release them. Aphids are a staple in the lady bug diet.
