Answer #2 · Vixi Le-Rue's Answer · I have been growing cover crops with mine, once you dig it in and it decomposes it helps a lot. I could of made pottery with my soil before)

Answer #1 · Brent Wilson's Answer · Well...you can always rent a giant front end loader and remove the top 3 feet of clay soil and then replace it with good, native topsoil. Not sure what you'll do with all that clay? Or, you can just add and till or turn in some organic matter to areas you want to plant in:-) I'd suggest the latter. Actually, clay has quite a bit of nutrients in it.
