We bought a house that has lots of Sedums planted around it and I think they come back from seeds every year and I was wondering if I can put mulch in those area for weed control. Thank so much.

Answer #1 · Gardenality.com's Answer · Hi Melinda - I have many sedums in my landscape...both the upright growers and groundcovers. Mulch can be used around any of them, however sedums don't like wet feet. Keep in mind you have to be careful not to put the mulch too thick as doing so can retain too much moisture in the soil. I usually use a thin layer of shredded or chipped bark mulch. Stone mulch would work too.
