On the property of the house we just purchased we noticed a couple tree's baring flowers. Is there a way we can upload a photo of it so someone may be able to identify them?

Answer #1 · Maple Tree's Answer · Hi Selma-It looks as thought the tree you have is the Yellowwood Tree (Cladrastis lutea). If you use google images you will see many pictures of this tree. If you don't feel this identification is correct let me know. A close up of the flowers and leaves would help but I believe this is the Yellowwood.

Congratulation on moving into your home. Please ask any other questions you may have while enjoying working on your new gardens.

Thank you John! My husband is going to be so happy to find out what this is! We have so many plants, and trees on our 18 acres so there will probably be a lot of questions. I thank God for this website!
