CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THE NAME OF THIS BUSH MIGHT BE? I TOOK THE PICTURE IN FALMOUTH, MA COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO

Answer #1 · Maple Tree's Answer · Hi Dora-I believe this large shrub is the Bottlebrush Buckeye (Aesculus parviflora). It grows to about 8 feet tall and 12 feet wide. Check the flowers up close. They are normally white with red anthers. I uploaded a few pictures of this plant I found. Let me know if you believe this is not the shrub you had seen. You can find many pictures in Google images and information on this shrub on the internet to compare to what you had seen.
