Answer #1 · Matt Heidke's Answer · A big factor in producing blooms is always sun exposure. These guys prefer full sunlight, initial bloom time will depend on how you handle pruning and can range from mid-summer to late-summer or even to fall. More importantly, the plant will flower until well into fall. Both its flowers and its leaves can withstand frost.)
