Two Different Plants From One.

Filed Under: Vine Plants · Keywords: From a Hibiscus bush to a Watter Lilly looking leaf · 1336 Views
I Cut an 8 Inch Branch from a Hibiscus Bush about 18 months ago. Nothing was ever planted in the spot I choose in five years, Right next to the House. In a few weeks it started to grow and developed into a 36" Beautiful Bush and giving me some very nice trumpet, Red flowers..
Just two weeks ago, Another Stem came to a head and started growing out of one of the Hibiscus Stems. It is a watery green and with Teardrop very shinny leaves with smooth edges and twice as large as the Hibiscus plant. I am 84 years old and have been growing plants all over the world and have never seen this in my live. Can you tell me what this is and many thanks
