I have had a pink bower vine for over 5 years and it has been beautiful. This summer it started drying up and losing leaves, at first just a little and then more and more is bare. It is on a drip system for 2 hours at night every 2 days during the summer. I live in AZ. It has always done fine during previous summers. I have another one planted a few feet away and it is only about 3 years old. It is doing fine. The vines on the one drying up are as big as my fingers and look very strong. Do they die of old age? Should I prune it back? I have not used fertilizer on it; should I?
