Hello Friends!
I was recently gifted 2 gorgeous Pink-A-Boo Camellia.
They are about 3 feet and almost 2 feet wide.

Can't seem to find answer to my question out in Google'land:

If I plant them in pots, nice substantial pots, can they be left out for winter or do I need to bring them in every time it hits a freezing temperature here? Zone 7 a/b

Thanks to all!

Answer #1 · Blumschen's Answer · Okay, so I did find this finally "out there" :

...... how many of you have containers filled with lush tropical plants that had to be dragged into the garage for recent freezes or were left outside and now look like a pot of brown mush? Since camellias are hardy, they do not have to be coddled during freezes.

Would love to still read personal opinions. Thanks!)
