Brooks Wilson's Answer · Gwen, Bordeaux Dwarf Yaupon Holly is my favorite. It, unlike other Dwarf Yaupon Hollies, has burgundy new growth throughout the growing season. If you prefer solid green foliage the Shillings or Taylors Rudolph are good Yaupon Hollies as well.. The Taylors has red berries in the Fall and Winter. If you are looking for 3-4' in height and full or part shade, some other possibilities for a good foundation plant are: Carissa Holly, Soft Touch Holly, Snow Indian Hawthorne, Eleanor Tabor Indian Hawthorne, Rose Creek Abelia, Purple Diamond Loropetalum, Emerald Snow Loropetalum and Wintergreen Boxwood. All of these selections should be here for you to look at on here on Gardenality.
Hope this helps you out!
