Brent Wilson's Answer · Without seeing the plant and where it is planted, not exactly sure why the blooms are falling off. My first guess would be too much or two little watering. Consistently wet or dry soil could be a problem. The second guess might be soil pH. Cape Fuchsia likes a soil pH between 5.5 and 6.5...fairly acid. If your soil is too sweet, 7 or above on the pH scale, it could cause this problem. Only other thing I can think of that could possibly be a problem is too much shade...but then the plant might not bloom much at all.)
