Crape Myrtles - Pruning

Filed Under: Trees · Keywords: My, Question, About, Crape Myrtle, Prune · 272 Views
I understand when to, my question is where to? I live in Mid TN and have about 28 crape myrtles total in 4 different beds. I have been told many ways to prune them, from below the knuckle so it looks like sticks, to take a chain saw and cut it about 1ft off the ground. Have never done the latter but.. Where do you cut them back to? Thanks!
