Is Grand Parade Monarda On Gardenality?

Filed Under: Perennial Plants, Gardenality Plants · Keywords: Grand Parade, Monarda, Bee Balm, Gardenality · 347 Views
The tag on it identifies it as Monarda 'Grand Parade' but I don't find it when I do a search. Could you add it? The tag says it's deciduous, frangrant...Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

THANKS

Answer #3 · Brent Wilson's Answer · This variety is new to me but I planted one of the Grand Parade Bee Balm about a month ago in moist area of a hummingbird garden in the backyard. So far it's doing great! Hopefully it will be mildew resistant as I've read.)

Answer #2 · John Heider's Answer · Sue-I have noted below the link to the 'Grand Parade' Bee Balm plant file on Gardenality. Just click on the link to go directly to the plant file. As the plant tag says, it will be deciduous, goes dormant in the winter months in your area. In late winter or early spring before new growth appears prune off any dead or unsightly growth for a beautiful plant again next year.

Answer #1 · John Heider's Answer · Hi Sue-You are right, only the 'Raspberry Wine' and 'Jacob Cline' cultivars are planted on Gardenality. Most of these plant characteristics will be the same as the 'Grand Parade' except for color and possibly height and width. If no one today gets this cultivar put in I will try and get it planted tonight for you.

That was quick! Just did a search for Grande Parade and saw you already planted it. Thanks!
